The game

This game follows the legendary tale of Galvarino, a Mapuche leader during the Arauco War against Spanish colonizers. Known for his bravery, Galvarino was captured and suffered the brutal punishment of losing his hands. According to legend, he replaced them with blades, continuing to fight for his own revenge and his people’s freedom, becoming a symbol of resistance against oppression.

Modifiers: 

Lengua Indígena: the game features a few mapudungun words, including the powerful rallying cry "marichiweu," which embodies the spirit of resistance, meaning "ten times we shall prevail"

Oye Mi Canto: some pieces of the soundtrack were created considering traditional Mapuche music, incorporating instruments such as the trompe and the kultrung.

Arauco domado:

For the intro narration, we got inspired by the tragicomedy Arauco Domado written by Lope De Vega, which dramatizes a famous poem ,with the same name, by the chilean poet Pedro de Oña.  You can check the original fragment here:

Tu has hallado justos modos
de castigar y vencer;
pero quedan tantas manos
por las que cortas en mi
en los demás araucanos

Known Bugs

There is a bug in the original version that makes you can not replay the final boss once if you die. This is fixed in the hotfix version
